                                  Katherine A. Bobeck

When Kathy moved into our area, she made a decision and commitment to become an active member of the community and since that time she has made service to others clearly defines Kathy Bobeck�s legacy.

Ms. Bobeck has been associated with the Juniata Valley Council and Boy Scouts since 1999..

Kathy has served on the Committee for Pack 15 and is currently a Member of the Committee for Troop 6 and serves as Merit Badge Counselor for fourteen Merit Badges. In 2006 Kathy became a member of the Council Executive Board and in 2007 became Vice President of Finance. She has led the Finance Committee�s reorganization establishing investment and endowment committees, has assisted in the development of policies ensuring compliance with constant changing state/federal regulations and has contributed a very significant amount of time and resources to the organization and retention of files, has assisted in the training of accounting staff and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy. 

In addition to Scouting, Kathy is an active member of community boards and financial committees including the Abuse Network, Communities that Care, United Way of Mifflin-Juniata, the Agency on Aging, Special Needs Center, and is a volunteer with Centre Wildlife.

Professionally, Kathy is the Financial Manager for Mifflin County, has two sons and resides in Millroy.

                              Kevin M. McKay

Those who meet Kevin McKay will quickly learn of his deeply rooted values for family, church and community and the desire to strengthen his community for the better is part of his life�s vocation. Kevin has been associated with the Boy Scouts of America since 1998.

Kevin has served in a variety of leadership positions with his son�s Pack in the Baltimore Area Council, where he was a catalyst for outdoor programming. Since his relocation to the Juniata Valley Council, he has become active with Boy Scout Troop 25 in Huntingdon where he has continued championing outdoor events for the Troop. In 2006 Kevin joined the Council Executive Board and assumed the role of Council Membership Chair. In 2009, Kevin accepted the role of Senior vice President for the Council. He has also served as the Council Philmont Contingent leader

Mr. McKay is an active member of his church where he has been instrumental in designing audio-visual systems, youth group leader, ND fundraising chairman. He is a life member of Tau Beta Phi National Engineering Honor Society.

He is Vice president of Operations for Avail Technologies in State College.

Kevin and his wife Judy are the parents of five children and reside in Huntingdon.

                                    Wesley A. Miller

Belief in making a difference in his community and others has been a personal mission for Wes Miller, which is evident in his work with a variety of community and professional organizations. He has been active in Scouting for more than nine years.

Mr. Miller having served as an Assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 381 � chartered to the New Hope Lutheran Church from 2000 to 2006. On the council level Wes has served as the Risk Management Chairman from 2001 to 2007 and in 2005 joined the Executive Board where he has served as Senior Vice President of Operations.  Currently he serves as Council President. Through Wes� leadership, the Council was recognized as the number one Risk Management Committee in the Northeast Region and in the nation. 

Mr. Miller�s commitment extends beyond Scouting. Mr. Miller has served on the Boards and President of the Spring Mills TV Association, Gregg Township Sewer Authority, Centre Community Hospital/Mount Nittany Medical Center, and Centre Community Surgical Center.   

He is active within the professional community on local/state levels and is an active member of Green Grove Brethren Church in Christ where he has served as a Sunday School Teacher, choir member and other ministry opportunities.

Wes and his wife Donna are the parents of a son and two daughters and reside in Spring Mills.

                           Robert G. Watts, Jr.

Bob is well known in McAllisterville for his community involvement both in Scouting and outside of Scouting. He is a strong advocate for youth programming and teaching young people to be prepared for tomorrow�s world. People often refer to Mr. Watts� �be there� �out in front� and �can do� attitude as measures of his success. 

He has been associated with Scouting for more than fifty years.

Bob�s service with Scouting began as Dining Hall Steward at Seven Mountains Scout Camp in 1960, when he became a member of the Order of the Arrow. Since that time he has served in numerous positions including Assistant Cubmaster, Cubmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Scoutmaster, Troop Committee Member, Troop Committee Chairman, Unit Commissioner Merit Badge Counselor, Trainer and Advisor with the Order of the Arrow. 

Within the community, Mr. Watts has served as a Catechism Instructor in his church,  a baseball and soccer coach, president, secretary, and member of the Lost Creek Rod and Gun Club, and was the Designer and Chief Engineer of the McAllisterville Area Youth Baseball Facility, the Scout Hall and did work on the Campfire Circle project at Seven Mountains Scout Camp.    

Bob is a retired Civil Engineer. He and his wife Trudy are the parents of two sons and reside in McAllisterville.
