Description of event

Engaging QUAD 2020 is a combined training/activity weekend.  You will have the opportunity to take the basic Venturing trainings, those needed for the Venturing Awards, and also experience QUAD 2020:Survivor events!  Adult trainings will be provided upon request.  Also this year, we are including admission to Camp Mountain Run, Crew 509’s Haunted House and Escape rooms.  Summer Camp tents will be provided.  We will be following all required social distancing procedures for activities, tenting, and meals. Masks will be required at times throughout the weekend.  Please bring at least 2, in case one is lost.  Updates will be sent to the email provided. Contact bonnie@hubauer.com with any questions.

 

Registration fee $50 by Oct. 16 - includes admission to Camp Mountain Run’s Haunted House and Escape Room, sponsored by Crew 509, on Saturday Night.

Early Bird registration unitl Sept. 25th.- Guarantees attendees a t-shirt

 

 Introduction to Leadership Skills for Crews (ILSC) - Will begin Friday night and run until lunch on Saturday.

  • Goal Setting and Time Management - 3 hours Sat. Morning 
  • Project Management - 3 hours Sat. Morning
  • Mentoring- 2 hours Sat. Morning

 

Cabin space is reserved for those who are unable to sleep in tents- All participants will be provided a pre-assembled summer camp tent to use for the event. Those who are not able to tent camp may sleep in a cabin. Contact Bonnie Hubauer bonnie@hubauer.com to make arrangements.

 

Notice: After registering your unit must contact Bonnie Hubauer with the following information. 

1. List of Scouts and Adults including Gender and ages (for camping purposes)

2. Any special diet needs for the weekend for any participants.

3. Any cabin requests for participants unable to camp.

4. Any Adult Training requests.

Cancellation Policy
Refund Policies Approved October 24, 2007 Cub Scout Day Webelos and Boy Scout Summer Camps Refund Policy 1. All requests must be made in writing and received by the Juniata Valley Council Service Center at least two weeks prior to the start of the camp. 2. Any last minute refunds will only be given for extenuating circumstances (i.e. death in the family, major illness). 3. Refunds will not be given for a change of mind, vacation plans, summer school, extended sport schedules, or no shows. 4. Refunds will not be given once the session of camp has begun. 5. Fees may be transferred from one Scout to another within the same unit. 6. Because many expenses occur 6 weeks prior to the start of camp, the Juniata Valley Council reserves the right to withhold an administrative fee as follows: A. Webelos or Boy Scout Summer Camp = $75.00 per person for any refund given B. Cub Scout Day = $ 25.00 per person for any refund given Any refund will be issued by check, normally within two weeks of the request and made payable to the name listed on the receipt
